Keeping up with favourite websites can be difficult, especially on a mobile. Google's Reader service collates news from websites (and recommends ones your usage suggests you might like). Now there's also a new dedicated Google Reader app for smartphones running Google's Android operating system.

So there we have it - a plain English explanation of RSS in just a few sentences. Executives all across Australia will be rushing to get their RSS fix now...

Not sure why this extension isn't part of Chrome as standard, like other browsers, but you need to install it yourself to enjoy the benefits of feed auto-discovery.
