This sounds really, really good! While I try to use RSS as much as possible, I still find social networking and social media notifications waste a lot of time and space in my inboxes.

But I'm not sure I want to hand over my email password. And I'm sure corporate IT managers are going to really love this once they bring in support for Outlook, POP and IMAP mail services.

Thoughts?

We have industry standard encryption in place to protect your email credentials. In essence, we act as an IMAP email client, checking your account every few minutes for messages that we can organize for you.

We're always looking for ways to improve security and make it easier to sign up. Our integration with Yahoo! Mail uses OAuth so that we never see your email password. We'd like to see all services move to this type of authentication.

I hear what you are saying. Wider support for OAuth appears to be one of the better options and would also help start ups like you with innovative ideas to get traction more quickly by reducing fears about account hijacking and other risks that the kind of access you require might create.
